Electrolysis is a safe, effective and permanent method of hair removal for all skin types and hair colors. It has been in use for over 100 years.
The treatment is performed by a registered electrologist. The electrologist uses a disposable, sterile needle to deliver a small amount of electrical current to destroy the hair follicle. The environment and all instruments used for the treatment are sterilized.
Hair can be removed from most body parts. Common areas for men are: hairline, beard line, shoulders, back, neck, chest, neck, and eyebrows. Common treatment areas for women include: eyebrows, cheeks, upper and lower lips, chin, bikini, underarms, breasts, and abdomen.
Electrolysis requires a series of treatments. The number of treatments varies by client and is dependent on factors such as hair growth cycle, density and coarseness of the hair, etc. Your electrologist will work with you to create a treatment plan.
